Changing the viflow cloud password

If you use the viflow cloud hosting service, you have received the access data with user name and password by email. If you want to change the password, please proceed as follows.

  1. Enter the following link in the address line of your browser and confirm with Enter:
    https://webmodel.viflow.cloud/YOUR_CUSTOMER_NUMBER/self-service
    For example:
  2. In the following window you can enter the previous and new password for FTP and web access.
     Please note the guidelines below when choosing a new password!
  3. Confirm the entry of the new password (or new passwords) by clicking on the Change Password button.
    If the passwords meet the guidelines and they have been entered twice identically, the message appears:
  4. The file credentials.json in which the access data is stored is located in the target directory of the WebModel.
    Open the file with an editor and enter the new passwords in the " pass" lines. 
  5. Save the changes and close the credentials.json file.

Password Guidelines

  1. The last 10 passwords must not be used.
  2. It must be at least eight characters long.
  3. The password must meet the complexity requirements, ie at least
    1. contain one uppercase and one lowercase letter,
    2. contain a number between zero and nine,
    3. contain a non-alphabetic character (special characters, e.g. !, $, #, %).
