In this article you will learn how to update the viflow tracker addon.

Please proceed as follows:

1. In Windows Explorer, go to the viflow tracker installation directory (default: C:\Program Files\viflow tracker).
2. Stop the active services of viflow tracker via apache_stop.bat and mysql_stop.bat.
   To do this, right-click the file and select Run as administrator.
3. Back up the data folder from the mysql directory and name the backup data.old.
4. In the apache folder, run apache_uninstallservice.bat with administrator rights.
5. In the mysql folder, run mysql_uninstallservice.bat with administrator rights.
6. Remove the old installation of viflow tracker by deleting the data folder.
7. Unpack the new viflow-tracker installation folder by double-clicking the viflowtracker_v1.0.exe.
   Then follow the installer instructions.
8. Copy the previously backed up data.old folder back into the mysql directory.
9. Run setup_xampp.bat.
10. Start the viflow tracker services again via apache_start.bat and mysql_start.bat.
11. Run the upgrade_installation.bat file.
12. Call up the viflow tracker via ››› http://localhost and check the result.
