Single User Mode

We recommend single-user mode for working with a small number of users and when they agree on how to use the database before modeling.
Version conflicts cannot occur in single-user mode because only one modeler can work in the database at a time.
Open the options window via the File – Options menu and activate the Single User Mode option under Current process model – Team Modeling.
In single-user mode, the process model is automatically locked as soon as a user is connected to the database. This means that only one modeler can work at a time – if a second person wants to open the database, they will receive a message telling them who is currently working in the model. The database is only released again after a user has closed it and can be used by another modeler.

Work offline / online
If you do not have access to the server (e.g. if you are working elsewhere with the notebook), you can check out the process model in the File menu (Work offline) and check it in (Work online) as soon as you have access to the server again.
